Please join us for an afternoon of fashion, poetry and thoughtfully curated art as we showcase some of Western Washington's most talented Black artists and creatives. This year's theme, I Choose You, is a letter to Black love, music and lyricism.
This immersive event will transport attendees into a world where creativity meets poetry and art, featuring a diverse collection of musically themed artworks that explore themes of love, desire, heartbreak and healing.
We excitedly welcome back Anokye Agofomma, the incomparable Ghanian cultural dance group that has been part of this event since its inaugural year. Our not-to-miss fashion show is also returns, highlighting the exceptional craftmanship of local Black clothing designers.
Food and beverage will be available for purchase from Black-owned restaurants and beverage companies, including On Blended Knee Winery, Soul Fusion Food, and Sansinos Catering, among others.
Proceeds from all ticket sales to be donated to the Family First Community Center, a local Renton-based nonprofit organization.
